In a session this week, I heard myself say something that felt bigger than the moment:
“Your life is not a prove your worth mission. It’s an express your gifts and impact mission.”
🤔And as the words left my mouth, I realized how many of us are quietly living the first version.
– Prove you’re smart enough.
– Prove you’re successful enough.
– Prove you’re lovable enough.
– Prove you belong in the room.
It’s exhausting.
Because a “prove your worth” life is never done. There’s always another milestone, another comparison, another invisible standard to reach. And even when we hit it, the relief is temporary. The bar just moves.
Living from proving creates a life of correction.
We’re constantly adjusting ourselves. Editing ourselves. Fixing ourselves.
As if our existence is slightly off and needs refinement.
But living from expression creates a life of intention.
Instead of asking, “What’s wrong with me?”
We begin asking, “What wants to be expressed through me?”
Correction is reactive.
Intention is directional.
When we shift from proving to expressing, something softens. We stop performing. We start creating. We stop competing. We start contributing…Can you feel the change of energy?❤
🤔Maybe the reason we feel tired isn’t the workload. Maybe it’s the mission.
So here’s a question I’m sitting with this week:
Where in my life am I still trying to prove…
instead of intentionally expressing?
