How many times have we stopped ourselves from doing new things or embracing new opportunities just to avoid the infamous “Impostor Syndrome”?
Have you thought of Googling the infamous? When I google the term, this is what I found:
“a psychological occurrence in which an individual doubts their skills, talents, or accomplishments and has a persistent internalized fear of being exposed as a fraud “(Wikipedia.org)
Here is a perspective that has worked for me to avoid being paralyzed by such fear.
I look at the impostor syndrome as a sign that I am transitioning to something bigger which I have not embodied yet, and until I do, I will inevitably feel like an impostor.
I have learnt to embrace it as a powerful indicator and companion in my growth path…and we have become good friends in the journey too!
Much love,
Gaby
